The Background
MundoAnimalia was originally founded as the go-to destination for anything pets, from pet advice to a veterinary directory.
The website was founded by a large Spanish media group that also ran websites in other verticals, such as health and travel.
Despite its potential, the previous owners realised the platform would do better in the hands of someone fully focused on pets.
In 2021, Pet Media Group acquired MundoAnimalia and began building the most trusted and transparent destination in Spain for pets to find new homes.
